Patrol District 2 is located on the east side of the Town Of Culpeper. Boundaries are Germanna Highway to the south, Main Street to the west, James Madison Highway to the north, and the Town limits to the east. At the center of District 2 is the downtown shopping district. The merchants' association, Culpeper Renaissance, Inc., is very active. Along with the Chamber of Commerce and Department of Tourism (both located in the newly-renovated train depot building), CRI ensures that the downtown area is always busy with interesting activities.
In addition to the downtown shops, other shopping areas are located within this District. Culpeper Town Square and Wal-Mart provide a variety of shopping experiences.
There are two schools within District 2. Head Start is located on Old Fredericksburg Road. Epiphany Catholic School is located on East Edmondson.
There are two neighborhood watch groups in this District.
- South East Street Neighborhood Watch - This covers that street and several side streets.
- Depot District Neighborhood Watch - This encompasses the areas near North East Street, East Piedmont Street, and the Depot Building.
