Culpeper Police Department

The Culpeper Police Department is conducting an investigation of an attempted armed robbery that occurred on April 9, 2008 at Westside Grocery located on Sperryville Pike in the Town of Culpeper.
- At approximately 11:30pm, a male suspect entered Westside Grocery armed with a handgun and attempted to commit a robbery of an employee of the business.
- The suspect height is 5’10” to 6’2” and appeared have an age of in his twenties. The suspect was wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt and grey cargo type sweatpants.
- The store was closed at the time of the attempted robbery, thus no customers were in the store.
- The employee was not injured.
